Hey friends! Today I am going to help you choose which gaming console you should buy: Is it the Xbox Series X or PS5. Honestly speaking, both are really nice to have but, of course, you only need to choose one unless you have the luxury to buy both gaming consoles… then you’re one heck of a lucky guy (or gal)!
Microsoft Team claims that the next-gen gaming console is their Xbox Series X. According to them, they have set higher standards in the gaming experience. The graphical power and processing speed are linked up together making it an ideal gaming console for all ages. Xbox users around the world are so thrilled right now as the launching of Xbox Series X will happen very soon.
PS5 on the other hand also has many innovations Sony Team can be very proud of and for all PS users to be excited about. If Xbox Series X makers claim they made gaming experience better and faster, so are the makers of PS5. Tough competition huh! So let us compare these two amazing products which made a mark in the history of video games.

As to their exclusive games, both have similar architecture. However my eyes are set on PS5 games such as Horizon: Forbidden West (the sequel to Horizon: Zero Dawn), Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Demon’s Souls, and Sackboy: A Big Adventure, and Gran Turismo 7.
Major exclusives released this year are The Last of Us: Part II and Ghost of Tsushima which will be ported to the new console. Included are various indie games such as Stray, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Little Devil Inside, and Bugsnax. Xbox Series X highlights are Halo Infinite, Dirt 5, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Bright Memory: Infinite, and Outriders. Also included are Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, Forza Motorsport 8, and State of Decay 3.
As to the design of these consoles, there’s not much to say. Xbox Series X is quite plain and boring as it is just a black cuboid. Some would say it just has a conservative design and it’s nice. PS5 though is different. It has a futuristic look with its rounded black rectangle, with two white fins on the sides, how cool is that!
And the winner is…
Like I said earlier, both Xbox Series X and PS5 are really really nice to have. I have already laid down the comparison as to the power and speed, storage, games and many others.
Sony and Microsoft really took time to improve their respective consoles to meet the desires and demands of their users. Both consoles are really powerful. They have improved a lot especially the power and speed of these consoles. It seems that there is a slight advantage of points for Xbox Series X when it comes to specs though.
The GPU processing power of Xbox Series X which is 12 teraflops, according to some, is better than the 10.3 teraflops of PS5 as there is a difference in the graphics.
Well, it still depends on how well a game is being optimized. Moreover, Xbox Series X also offers considerably more backward compatibility for gamers like me. On the other hand, I give thumbs up to PS5’s popular lineup of exclusive titles. Their games are really awesome!
A very close competition between these two gaming consoles indeed! It, I think, depends now on how much it will cost us to enjoy either of these two products. Both Microsoft and Sony have not released news about the prices of their respective products yet but there are rumors that it will cost approximately $500. So you better start saving for it as it will be launched very soon.
